How do we manage to keep fooling ourselves, to thinking we’re in love again?

Do we live with the lies as they are, are we only trying to fool our hearts?

We watch the sun coming up in the sky, we lie there, and we tell our dreams
We’ll fight the past no matter how hard we try, it’s so much harder than it seems
But life moves on, so maybe we should remember all the best that we can
