Casey wrote this song of disillusionment of the student life, the life after high school and seeking the so called “right track.” The path was filled with potholes, dead animals, night shifts, and useless assignments that in no way prepare one for the real life. The song is truly the soundtrack for the late night rural Missouri drive.
