Novotopia by Brett Lewis

Inspired by the music of Mike Oldfield and Tubular Bells, this is my debut album. It is a continuous long-form composition over two sides.

Novotopia is a made up word chosen to invoke the listener's own imagery.

Inspired by the music of Mike Oldfield, I compose instrumental music.

I started learning guitar at 6 years old. Starting with Jazz standards and Blues. But I am largely self-taught.

I have performed at Brecon and Wrexham Jazz festivals and various venues across the UK.

I'm influenced by a range of music, from Plainsong to Frank Zappa.

But Mike has held a special place for me musically.
