but i found a map that’s rollin open from the spine of my back
and i heard a sound that’s pullin like roots twisted underground

take me down to the edge of the woods
show me the borders of where we could go

to see if it’s off

take a look at the air
there’s parts of you you’ll only find out there
whether it’s pitched black
or the light has chewed up the shadow cracks
