My eyes snapped
Open to a fluorescent, blinding light
Coursing through my fractured core
Spreading noxious blight

Disoriented, while the air became heavy
Suffused with an antiseptic perfume
Faceless figures surrounded me
Casting sterile whiteness into this dreary room
Fighting against the restraints
An enteral tube inched its way down my throat
Silencing all complaints
A flow of goo burdened my body with constant bloat

Day by day, a culinary torment
Bold display amid one despotic government
Muzzled on a frigid metallic cot
How could I escape? Would I be left to rot?

Distraught

Then a sinister twist took shape
A malignant creature sought to escape
With sheer malice, writhing and churning
Awaiting calamity, yearning

For human ruination

Encased in a jar
Yet from afar, I felt its gaze on me
This glistening slime
With a shimmering plea to kill and be free

Fueled my despair

Stuffed like a repulsive, bloated pig in this nightmare
I became ensnared as the room started to blur
In a haze, my future remained Impaired

A stitch-covered lesion
Marked my skin
From my sleep, sensing a transition
Deep within, t'was the aberration

Feeling its tender movement
The ancient being swayed inside my abdomen
A celestial agreement
We were simply harbingers of a bad omen
My vessel was its home
I became a silent incubator
Our bond had grown
Watching my form distend; I was but the spectator

Fetid, voracious worms
Tore me agape by devouring my flesh
Wound filled with cancerous germs
The genesis of life started afresh

A parasite's plight to extinguish the light
With every move, leaving death in their wake
No soul to forsake
The earth, they would retake
