Brace Brace are three air stewards who have survived an airborne catastrophe. They are in a scorched and desolate landscape. It is a world that appears to have been destroyed and abandoned. To survive they must make sense of this forbidding environment. Ambient soundscapes, broken beats and the spoken word begin to reveal a world of strange new possibilities. ‘Welcome Aboard’ is an album that tells a story, mixing broken machine music with ‘cello, bass guitar, accordion and other live instrumentation. It is the first album by Brace Brace.
