Juliet & Romeo by Booster Fawn

Early sobriety made me process emotions in a way that I had never experienced before and ‘’Juliet & Romeo’’ is one of the first tunes of this new chapter of mine. I wrote this song after what can best be described as a 15-year long bender. It’s a breakup song, a mourning song, a song in which I allowed myself to reflect on who I truly am, and a song filled with hope for the future all wrapped into one. When I was 21 my first serious girlfriend committed suicide. Her name was Marianne. I thought we were going to spend our whole lives together, but it did not turn out that way. It’s been very hard for me to let go of lovers that have followed ever since. In a way, the story of my life is very much the story of my romantic relationships. And my songs are very much the story of my life.
