slipping on sidewalks once or twice
moving in circles around the ice
forever s waiting a ways out far
carving a straight line
the skin of my heart

some body s taken away some body s gold
no body s wanting to stay some body s old
even the world stops turning
staring this hollow sea
reckless and dangerous are dreams

sailing the ocean cuts a light
spoken devotions right out of your mind
comings upeven your stealing a bleed
a care ain t the worst thing you ever need

the voiceless hear your kisses blind
vanished hands your body hides
the moment is shaping you inside
this moment is breaking you inside
this moment is taken
