RAW by Boar

Using a Tascam DR-05, I decided to record myself scraping aluminum. This was probably sometime in 2017. At the time I was working construction. Such a miserable and mentally draining shit job. A RAW open wound of a memory that will always burn in my brain and haunt my dreams. I didn't have direction or motivation, so why not record myself ripping through some fucking metal... After taking the lengthy field recording, I cut out the dead space and added volume boost and probably reverb in post production. I went on to use this RAW recording as a sound source for multiple Boar recordings and live sets. Releasing this allows me to show the Raw, the vulnerable side of Boar. Peeling back the meticulous cuts, splices, edits ect. A full cycle sort of stamp in the history of Boar.
