Krásná hudba do deštivého líného odpoledne

Hudebně velmi plodný pražský hudebník Milan Maštálka aka Night Note nahrál další ze svých ambientních alb s prvky world music. Vrací se se svým charakteristickým mixem klidné snivé elektroniky doplněné o perkusivní a strunné nástroje, místy melodii podpoří i dechovými nástroji.

Zpomalené plynutí, vyprázdněná krajina, vše dokonale souzní s Maštálkovou fotografií na obalu. Pocit oproštění od ruchu civilizace, vnímání prostoru a meditace provázejí celým albem. Myšlenky se odpoutají, letí volně prostorem, přichází zklidnění. Čas jakoby se zastavil. V tom je v dnešní době poslech desky Silent Places tak ojedinělý.

Night Note se pravidelně objevuje na kompilaci Naviar Haiku Festival londýnských Naviar Records. Dvě skladby z této přehlídky se také dostaly na toto album. Na své bandcampové stránce a Soundcloudu má Night Note desítky nahrávek. Rozhodně stojí za prozkoumání.

Beautiful music for a rainy lazy afternoon

Musically very prolific Prague musician Milan Maštálka aka Night Note recorded another of his ambient albums with world music elements. He returns with his characteristic mix of calm dreamy electronics complemented by percussive and string instruments, sometimes with brass instruments to support the melody.

The slowed down flow, the emptied landscape, all perfectly harmonize with Maštálek‘s photography on the cover. The feeling of freedom from the hustle and bustle of civilization, the perception of space and meditation run through the whole album. Thoughts detach, fly freely through space, calmness comes. Time seems to stop. This is what makes listening to Silent Places so unique nowadays.

Night Note appears regularly on the Naviar Haiku Festival compilation by London‘s Naviar Records. Two tracks from that show also made it onto this album. Night Note has dozens of recordings on its bandcamp page and Soundcloud. Definitely worth exploring.
