headwater from blueberry by blueberry

i need to calm down. do you feel the fire underground? it melts my feet and sparks the spaces in between. i shift my eyes cause it's hard to tell why the water under my skin is being pulled up into the clouds. while i'm drying up i feel my mind separating itself.

you kept the place warm. you left a light on at the door. and if you don't mind i'll grab the stuff i left behind. i heard you say from the back room "keep it down, or they'll hear you". i turned my head and saw the face of a ghost of a friend who passed away.

do you know them? do you feel them? you know i miss you. i'm having trouble sleeping at night.
