Friends by Den Baron

Den Baron, the solo unit of German guitar pop maestro Zwen Keller! His album "Friends," a collaboration with his friends, will be released on Record Store Day 2026!

Den Baron has been active since the late '90s, releasing music on renowned labels in the music industry, including Japan's Quince, Germany's Apricot Records, and America's Shelflife Records. Their 2021 album "From Now On" on the blue-very label remains a huge bestseller.

And now, their first new album in five years, this one features collaborations with close friends. The lineup is impressive, including former Bridge member and current Three Berry Icecream member Ikemizu Mayumi, former Bridge member Kaji Hideki, now a successful solo artist, Megumi Mashiro, known for her work with Rotten Hats and Hicksville, Osamu Shimada, currently active in Swinging Popsicle and The Caraway, and Gota Nishidera, who also performs solo (Nona Reeves). This captivating album also features Martin Nelte of fellow German indie-pop legend Brideshead, Mark Cohen of The Shinning Hour, and Per Sunding of Swedish pop pioneer Eggstone, all collaborating on tracks.

The design is by Atsushi Ito of AIRS, with illustrations by Ikuno Nema, resulting in incredibly catchy artwork!
