Hoax is the first proper LP by San Diego dystopian doom-punk duo Blood Ponies. 10 tracks and 35 minutes of ominous post-punk textures, primal screams and a growing cynicism and anxiety inside the rapidly closing walls of disinformation and chaos. It builds upon the bandβs debut EP A Desolate Place in every possible direction. Louder, heavier and darker, Hoax is a record wrapped up in melody and noise, in truth and in myth.
