Lagniappe by Blair Frodelius & the Sazerac Band
This is my tribute to the rich musical heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana. Starting with early 20th century jazz and blues, moving into country, R&B, pop and beyond, nearly 20 artists are represented. Everyone from Louis Armstrong, Hank Williams, Fats Domino and Jelly Roll Morton made their own unique imprint on the birthplace of American popular music.
Dedicated to the great Malcolm John Rebennack Jr. who inspired me to make this album.
