John Fryer's Band Black Needle Noise covers Audra Day's iconic track "Rise Up". He recruited Lisa Kekaula (Basement Jaxx) to create a powerful rendition of the original track. Lisa's intense performance and John's silky production are a perfect match.
"Rise" was made for a short documentary about the LA protests for George Floyd. The movie is showing in festivals around the world to critical acclaim.
