Marionette... by Maulskull

"Marionette" is part of the upcoming album, "Us and Them" by Black Mask, due for release in late 2011. "Marionette" dives into a bad situation that only gets worse, Maulskull describes a dysfunctional relationship between a woman and her abusive alcoholic husband and explores the events that unfold in violent detail over the course of their relationship. Using the metaphor of a puppet and its master, "Marionette" tells a version of the tale over 1,300 Americans annually experience. Domestic violence is a serious issue worldwide and this track is dedicated to anyone that has ever been part of domestic violence on either side of the spectrum.
