Eithel Ivrin by Black Jade

Eithel Ivrin was one of the most beautiful regions in all of Beleriand. The river Narog originated on the southern slope of the Ered Wethrin at the source of Ivrin. The waters of Eithel Ivrin were clear, pure, and healing, and they were under the special protection of Ulmo.

The song’s lyrics explore themes of “cleansing” and “liberating” oneself from the shadows that burden our souls and cloud our minds. It speaks of “hope” and overcoming fears. We should all seek our own Eithel Ivrin to wash away the hate, the horror, and the evil that we encounter.
