Hive from Divide Us by blackcarburning

COP International presents the third single from Blackcarburning "Divide Us".

The single features Mari Kattman on vocals and was the first song written for the album. The track was originally an instrumental and I asked Mari if she would replace some vocal samples that I'd found somewhere.

The results hinted at something bigger and better and we started throwing ideas and vocals back and forth. I'd already done a track with Mari for Mesh and the results were staggeringly good so I was confident. I wasn't wrong, and. "Divide Us" was the catalyst that started the whole Blackcarburning project. I really can't thank her enough for her talent, open mindedness and work ethic.

Mari Kattman is signed to COP International and releases are in the pipeline as I write this.

"Divide Us" is packaged with three new tracks that will not appear on the album. "Hive" features additional vocals by Neil Francis who, again, has been the bedrock of this project and my thanks go to him and the talent and enthusiasm that he brings.

Thanks to John Fryer for the skill and experience he brings to the work and putting up with my last minute changes.
