Scarring Thought marks Bkode's fourth consecutive album after a running streak of three other albums in the past year, all spanning different genres and different takes on Bkode's signature sound. Scarring Thought is a slow and methodical descent into madness, capturing one out of many struggles of someone who isn't quite there.

"Writing this album started off like all of my others, as a simple vent, but it ended up capturing one of the most distressing parts of my life I've experienced so far. If anything some of the songs on here are honestly just cries for help. This album was almost abandoned at one point, but after rethinking the track list, I decided to finish what I started.
