the next single from "Sounds of Sunnyside". this song was inspired by my experiences online during the pandemic where i started to realize (for my own good) that people who i've never met don't always share the same closeness and sense of community that i had found with them. it was a huge mistake on my part putting so much trust in strangers who did not have my best interests at heart. i hope i've learned from the experience and am trying to look for authentic and mutual connections in my community around me who look out for each other. i hope we can be friends.
