The Artist, Music, and Recording Process

Bipolar Dimensions is a solo act featuring Richard Grahn on the Korg Krome Music Workstation. What follows is an eclectic collection of electronic improvisations, recorded in multiple passes, from January to May 2019.

Progressive, electronic ambient strains mingled with psychedelic overtones and hints of jazz fuel this album. From serene soundscapes to tangled webs of sound, the work is layered with twists and turns for the imagination and serious lovers of avant-garde music. The first half of the album is light and dreamy, the second half dark and spacy, much like the extremes of bipolar disorder.

Artist’s Dedication

This debut album is dedicated to those who struggle with mental illness. The message is simple. We are just people. We are all around you and just like "normal" people; some of us make music, even if it's not "normal music."
