On this album bios+a+ic makes a point to exclude all trumpet and synthesizers to focus on the sounds of electric and 12-string guitars. The use of electric shavers, ebow, sampling, and heavy effects processing allow the guitars to drone and wash into epic walls of sound which are layered with minimal vocals and field recordings. These soundscapes slowly evolve into songs as additional players add guitar (Robert Henson), bass (Kevin Goldsmith), and drums (Stuart McLeod) which take the music to another level of dynamic impact.
