Marathon LP by Sound Team

This is a direct rip from the vinyl. No eq, no mastering, nothing. Scratches warts and all.

This record is the best release Sound Team did. Only 300 copies were made. Made by St. Ives, a vinyl only division of Secretly Canadian. Some versions of the songs appeared on later releases, but often after being remixed or remastered, and not always in a beneficial way (in my opinion). I prefer these first versions. Even though the quality on bandcamp is not the best, I think (hope) it conveys the original spirit of the songs.

If you feel suitably motivated, I highly encourage you to check out the other Sound Team releases: Work, Movie Monster, Into the Lens, Empty Rooms. and the cassette releases. The Marathon LP is by far the best (in my opinion) but the other releases have some magic in them as well.
