'Hidebound' is Best Kept Unkept's debut album. It was released to all streaming services/platforms January 17, 2024.
Written and recorded in Mansfield, TX, 'Hidebound' features grandiose analog synth arrangements, slow/washy phasers, distorted basslines, pop-esque performances embellished by gritty saturation, thrashing psych-rock with a guitar-heavy foundation, intensely lovesick lyricism, and a quiet interlude of drawn out guitars and tape-recorded drums amidst it all.
Additionally, 'Hidebound' was both produced and performed in a bedroom studio with a Fender Starcaster, an MXL 990 Condenser Microphone, analog synths, and a DAW.
