Tracks #1 & 4 recorded on 19th February, 2010 at La Filature, Mulhouse (FR). Track #2 recorded live on 12th June 2008 at La Maison de la Musique, Le Garric (FR). Track #3 recorded live on 20th February 2010 at Bibliothèque Grand'Rue, Mulhouse.

The recordings took place during a first residency in June, 2008 at GMEA and during a second residency in February, 2010 at Météo Festival in Mulhouse.

Bertrand Gauguet plays the alto and baryton saxophone in contexts of improvisation of new music. Also a composer of electronic music, he has produced many original pieces and soundtracks for dance, cinema and radio. His interests explore the interplay of frequencies, multiphony, sounds at the thresholds of audibility, breath and more broadly sound as a medium for meditation.
