Bertie and the Signs formed in Nov 2021. Mike Burtoft ("Bertie") wanted to form a band to flesh out and enhance the original songs he had been performing as a solo acoustic act. The decision was made to be an originals only band. The band line up is Mike Burtoft, vocals and rhythm guitar; Ian Wildman, lead guitar; Ben Waters (bass) and James Lee Willis (cajon and backing vox)
