A Darkwave Gothic album of sorts. The songs are constructed entirely on synthesizers using my Roland D-50, a marvel of the 90s.

This album had to exist to channel my obsession with this kind of theme in a different way, in a slightly retro atmosphere. I took the melodic construction of the vocals to heart to bring out the haunting in me.

Each track is based on the same basic instruments: a bass, a rhythm section and 2 lead instruments. Then on some songs, a few different instruments are added to give a unique texture. The vocals are mostly low key to reflect the gothic style. The themes range from horror to grief, death, loneliness, night, darkness and light, and the like.

It was an incredible adventure to build an album solely on the synthesiser, and like the other albums, it marks a chapter in my life, definitely.
