We are a mother-son duo and string band based out of Boston, MA. Ruth Rappaport plays guitar, piano, and sings and has been playing old time music since the 1970s. She played in the seminal Boston string band The Poodles before playing with her son, Ben. Ben grew up immersed in the the Northeastern old time scene and has been playing fiddle for most of his life. He is also a songwriter and artist.
