Southside Worldwide from Viajero Mundial by The Single Helix

This is the original instrumental for Conceptualize (feat, Orel) on Freeform Sessions' first release "For All the Believers." It was made in my basement studio at my adolescent home on a BOSS digital four track. I used a Dr. Beat 202, a Rouge Precision bass knock off, and a Casio keyboard. It was the first track that got me real attention as a beatmaker/producer. I remember Yasu and Billy wanting to perform this live in our heyday big band hiphop collective shows at THe Canopy in Urbana Champaign for UC Hip Hop nights.

I renamed and added this tune in dedication to Chicago and the gritty sound that influenced it. Thank you: Dr. Premier, No ID, Ali Shaheed Mohammed and QuestLove.
