Originally written and recorded in 2004 as a electronic upbeat rocker, this song was re-imagined and became an afterthought of my Strength for the Weary album with Lovers in Arms. We played it live as a band called Frequency Below at the Morseland Cafe in the same year. It was tough to play in its alt-rock style, but I never let go of the song because of its poignant lyrics.
Here it finally is as a stylish electronic slow burner. I find it to be relaxing, hypnotic and yearning all at once.
