With a Psyfolk sound, in a warm and lively Country Rock, Americana and Folk Rock alternative blend (impossible to define borders here), Beev Rations immediately turns Cavalcade into one of its anthems, both for the galloping exuberance of its instrumental arrangements and for the honest and suggestive of its lyrics, to which are added humorous nods to certain actors and comedians, special effects, voices and laughter that, at certain moments, lead us to hilarity, and then catapult us to the stars. That is precisely where the psychedelic, mersey and humorous touches so typical of Alan James’s songs lie.
