I was running by the waterfall
And in no time my mother called
Leaving fake lives and sandy feet
Down the mountain by the ravine

And I don’t want to leave this place behind
Losing these memories inside my mind

I should’ve known it’s never forever
But what will be, will be even better
Holding on to the sweet things
Will make you feel just a little more at home

Now we’re taking it apart,
in syrup cans and everything that goes along with her
Her daisies and her tall greens remind me of a few

I think it’s time to leave this place behind
Keeping these memories inside my mind

I should’ve known it’s never forever
But what will be, will be even better
Holding on to the sweet things
Will make you feel just a little more at home
