I made it a point to release new music on my birthday every year since 2018. I see it as a reasonable way to track progress to some degree.

After being introduced to generative music, I began spending a reasonable amount of time trying to understand art in technology, and vice versa, the last couple of years. Safe to say, my knowledge is far from anywhere to make a statement but I was left pondering with a question - "Would generative music invoke emotions?"

melancholiair is the result of a trial to find the answer.
