About "Let Go" :

Something about this song makes me think about being on a road trip to the beach with good friends, in a VW bus (like the one my dad owned while we were growing up) —my hand out the window riding the rushing air like kids do… It also makes me think about long solo walks, immersed in existential contemplation —feeling nostalgic, warm and resolved.

The lyrics come from an inner voice —that one that knows best —that gives reassurance to follow your heart (as cliché as that sounds). It’s the voice that validates your feelings and encourages you to let go of your comforts and accept your role in the next chapter ahead… In the context of the song and my upcoming album as a whole, this inner voice also gives us a fair warning —there are ‘more than just ‘Sticky Shadows’ out there in the woods…’

I’m very excited to share Let Go and ‘The Meadow’ with you —especially if you are going through some sort of transition in their lives —I hope that it resonates and that it is meaningful...
