V - Prospero from Cantus Imperialis by Tom Call & The BattleJazz Orchestra

Stirred from his memories of Nikea, Magnus finds himself in the midst of his journey through the warp. The result of the trial at Nikea was the decree by the Emperor that all psychic sorceries were to be ceased.

Magnus returned to Prospero, and continued his studies and practicing of warpcraft in seclusion. After his failure to save Horus on Davin, he employs psychic sorceries to travel via astral projection to Terra, in order to warn the Emperor of Horus' betrayal. While journeying, he finds a section of the Webway, and enters, finally arriving in what he thinks is triumph, only to discover his trespass has undone years of the Emperor's work and burned away irreplaceable sigils and magics.

In attempting to warn the Emperor, Magnus has ruined his greatest work. His is sent back to Prospero to await the Emperors' judgement on the matter.
