Jamaimoi left Paris for Lisbon to work as a freelancer, surf under the sun, mix on the beach and in the city’s natural wine bars. This dreamy combination gives a unique sound, close to Mézigue for the big kick and the powerfull way that he uses samples sometimes but with this warm and solar side borrowed from the Portuguese climate; a signature that he called “frenchghettotouch” characterized by the EP’s eponymous track. “Hardcore Definition” is a smooth mystical and trippy introduction to this rich universe then “This Girl Change My Morning Routine” with this beautiful 5 minutes R&B loop that he has redefined.
