Rainbows Under the Roof
A winter day in 1994. Snow lies on the skylight. The sun shines through the crystals and paint-like rainbow colors on the walls. In this room sits Balduin, 16 years old. It is his childhood kingdom, an attic room belonging to him and his brothers, and there, over the next two years, he records the songs that are now being released. These are songs that once again conjure up the enchanted world of childhood, songs of a young man standing on the threshold of adulthood, casting a simultaneously wistful glance back and a curious one forward.
