Annoyed Crier by Baha Jarvis
This track blends hyperpop, synth-pop, and experimental elements to tell the story of someone who glows but has lost their sparkle; someone who chose betrayal over facing their own growth. They cry not because they’re weak, but because they ignored their chance to heal.
The cover and visuals are inspired by ’80s vintage thrillers and Harlequin romance: mystery, passion, bold hair, and more inclusivity. I wrote and performed the song, illustrated all the artwork, and created the visuals (as I always do) as I love using hand-drawn and painted techniques along with digital tools like Procreate and Artstudio Pro. While I respect creative uses of AI, I do not use it; my art is all me, Baha.
