BABBAGE DECADE from ALPHABETA by BABEL

Charles Babbage, (26 december 1791 – 18 october 1871) was an English mathematician, philosopher, inventor and mechanical engineer who originated the concept of a programmable computer. His fully mechanical difference engine and analytical engine are the basis for many a steampunk book which I will not read. Regardless, I feel like the past 10 years or so has seen his dream be finally realized [iphones, etc]. I blended clinky-clanky percussion, meant to imply clockwork, with electronic synthesizers playing the role of digital computation. Luckily the two sets of notes mesh in a really magical way.
