The answer is no. I am not the madman. I have no real gold in my possession. The gold is whatever might be important to you, your own personal treasure, however big, small, expensive or priceless… for the madman lives in all of us. Lurking somewhere in the shadows of our personalities, waiting for the right moment to make an appearance, be it in the form of a quirky sense of humor, an angry outburst, paranoia, grief or joy. We’re all allowed to dream, we’re allowed to laugh, cry and be afraid. We’re also allowed to feel alive; no one truly has the power to make us feel otherwise. I hope you find your madman’s gold.
