Les Commandements by Pensées Noires

Debut album of Pensées Noires, the first breath. Each part is born from the shadows, where each note weighs like a dying prayer, sometimes the atmospheres and melodies are dissonant. Death runs through the pieces, not as a memory, but as a presence still alive with us, a reminder that death never goes away. One day we will die, we will be forgotten in a few centuries, certainly before, so let us create and express ourselves, while we still can.

In our hearts buried in stones, the wooden lures are played by the dead, they call the others to walk with them. Kettle drums can be heard in the distance, sometimes clumsily played with the bones. Their hurdy-gurdies call the lost souls, they call you, in the darkness you will walk with them.
