Present Continu by Mínim
Recorded in the fall of 2024, Present Continu is the result of an idea I had been carrying with me for a long time. An album with two tracks per side, each composed of various interconnected pieces that flow into one another without any silence in between. The intention is to keep the listener in a continuous, present-moment listening experience.
In a time dominated by speed, acceleration, and disposable culture, this album is my humble and insignificant protest—a quiet rejection of the prevailing modes of artistic production and consumption.
Mínim is the solo project of Juanvi Fortea, a member of Mecánica Clásica. Synthesizers, field recordings, and the home studio itself are all used as instruments.
