VVINDMILLS is a creative collaboration between lifelong friends David Graves and Chad Mossholder. After forming their first bands together in high school, the duo took time to explore their individual musical paths, only to reconnect years later with a shared vision: to craft minimalist, atmospheric music rooted in simplicity and emotion.
Their sound is built around just three core elements: bass, guitar, and drums. Chad Mossholder writes and performs all guitar parts, while David Graves constructs the song frameworks, composes and plays bass, and programs the electronic drum kit. Together, they create music that is intimate yet expansive, focusing on feeling, subtlety, and texture.
Looking ahead, VVINDMILLS plans to expand their minimalist approach, incorporating subtle electronic elements into their upcoming full-length release.
