Beast Coast by August Flight Gordon

This project came about when I stumbled upon an old hard drive at a friends containing a bunch of great instrumentals that I had forgotten about from the late 90s into the early 2000s. I originally intended to just release a "Lost Tapes" beat tape of sorts but when I started going through them I realized that a lot of the beats had a real distinct east coast golden era flavor. I picked the best of those gems and added a bunch of stuff from recent years that didn't get placed or Id forgotten,made some new beats, did some edits,interludes etc and viola, Beast Coast was born. Growing up in Baltimore and spending a lot of my childhood in NY, this serves as my homage to the northeast, a place that brought me my first true love in music, hip hop. This is a good joint to blast in the whip, play some dice to late night or just pump out some big ol speakers at a house party.Watch the levels cus I kept it unmastered and raw, the way u used to get tapes from your friends back in the day.Hopefully this will help u get caught back up in the nostalgia of a sound that keeps reinventing itself!!
