Whitewater is a departure from the formidable power electronics act Pleasure Island, recorded during the artist's physical recovery using minimal electronics to assemble a rough and unmediated terrain that resists comparison to other "dark techno" projects. Set to the conceptual backdrop of the 1996 byzantine political scandal involving the Whitewater Development Corporation and the alleged suicide of Vincent Foster, this work mirrors the underlying focus on conspiracy, deception and intrigue found in past P.I. recordings while delving into new sonic territory
