Connaigre by German Army
German Army returns to A\V following 2017's "Tewa" which proceeded an era of overwhelmingly strong output on several internationally recognized heavyweight labels, it is a pleasure to welcome Ge.Ar back with another outing of monophonic geo-acoustic surveys.
"Connaigre" finds the California based artist focussing on the great isle of Newfoundland, offering a range of sonic adages that mirror the diverse northeastern coastline with a dizzying blend of delayed percussive motifs, subdued synths and the sparse vocal appearance.
