The white cubes stun me
They make me stringy
The flatlines tell me:
I'm cut away

Light snow is falling
All lights are dimming
I think of love on
a summer day

They always told us we would never dream
so we never have to feel the cold
We built a straylight fortress in the stream
to be save outside the sunset gold

But night was at the door
Wearing a Black-Hole-suit
It filled our inner core
with Wintermute

Now it's been two cold centuries
And too much frost and ice
Too many sunless Januaries
in hibernating eyes

I'd love to help you with defrosting
I'd really, really love to stay
But this whole winter is exhausting
The freeze will carry me away
