Northern Landfall by monolog

In recent years the Monolog moniker has on very rare occasions played Ambient live-sets and has been tampering with the idea of Ambient. Not as a static furniture in your mind comforting a certain state of relaxation but more as a down-toned but still repressed fierce way of bringing across musical narratives. If one is familiar with the monolog universe it is mostly overloaded breaks, heavy bass-lines and blistering tempi. This EP is the work consolidating those thoughts and bringing forth the compositions supporting those ideas. Ambient with teeth, like a semi functional machine bleeding cooling fluids with sparks flying off the mainframe as operations deteriorate and battery runs out.
