C minor, 160 BPM — a contrast between tension and tenderness.
A short drum and bass track written around a whisper: “fast asleep.” Aggressive breaks, sub-heavy bass, and reversed textures collide with fragile, dreamlike vocals.
The reversed vocal was an attempt to create the impression of a language that doesn’t exist — inspired by Coil – Batwings (A Limnal Hymn) and the feeling of voices from a dream you can't quite understand.
The cover art reflects this dissonance: abstract shapes suspended in black, like pieces of a forgotten dream.
No clear meaning. Just a moment between awareness and nothingness.
