When we can't keep up with our lives, we search for escaping mechanisms, such as over-consumption of irrelevant goods, ideas, people, etc.
Atønito is a Bari Sax/bass/drums trio based and inspired by the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
We make music to reflect and attack the directions our country has taken in the recent past - the rise of religious fundamentalism and loss of country identity.
Our music aims for freedom and respect for the collectiveness.
